Privacy Policy

Who we are

SignOff ("we", "us") provides software that lets home-service businesses record and send personal thank-you videos to their customers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. It covers both our business customers (the companies who use SignOff) and their customers (people who receive a video).

Information we collect

• Account data: name, work email, company name, trade, and role.
• Customer records uploaded by a business: customer name, phone number, email, service address, job details, and consent status.
• Content: video recordings, message text, and branding assets uploaded by a business.
• Delivery and engagement data: message status from our telecom provider, page views, watch duration, and which buttons were tapped.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and log data used for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To deliver messages and host watch pages.
• To show businesses how their videos performed.
• To handle consent, opt-outs, and legal compliance obligations.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and provide support.
• To bill for the service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer phone numbers for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run SignOff: cloud hosting and database providers, our SMS provider, our email provider, and our payment processor. Each is bound by contract to use the data only to provide their service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Videos and watch pages

Videos are stored privately. Watch pages load through short-lived signed links issued for a single recipient. A video is never reused for marketing or social media without a separate, explicit opt-in captured from the recipient.

Retention

We keep account and message records for as long as an account is active and for up to 24 months after, unless a longer period is required for legal or accounting reasons. Opt-out records are kept indefinitely because we are required to continue honoring them.

Your choices

• Recipients can text STOP at any time to stop all messages from that business, permanently.
• Recipients can text HELP for contact details and support.
• Businesses can export or delete their data from account settings.
• You can email us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is scoped per organization at the database level, and internal access is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service.

Children

SignOff is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16.

Changes

If we make a material change we will notify account owners by email before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
